CONVERGE 2013

CONVERGE 2013, presented by Shafer Leadership Academy, brings together East Central Indiana’s willing and talented volunteers, face to face, with the area’s not-for-profit organizations that want their assistance the most. Like a job fair for volunteers, CONVERGE 2013 seeks to connect the interests, passions, and abilities of potential volunteers with the causes in their community they care most about.

Event Format:

The format of CONVERGE 2013 is like a job fair or networking fair. Attending not-for-profit organizations are given a booth to present their open volunteer positions. Individuals are then invited to visit and network with each organization in effort to find volunteer possible opportunities they are interested in.

Who Should Attend?

Individuals seeking board member, committee member, or general program volunteer opportunities should attend CONVERGE 2013. East Central Indiana not-for-profit organizations wanting to recruit potential volunteers should attend as well.

When and Where is it?

CONVERGE 2013 is on Thursday, September 5th, 2013 from 4 – 7 PM at the Horizon Convention Center in downtown Muncie, IN.

  • About CONVERGE

Think of the CONVERGE website as a job board for volunteer opportunities. Not-for-profit organizations, free of charge, can post the volunteer opportunities they currently have available. Individuals looking for places to volunteer can then view all the volunteer opportunity postings and find those that match their interests and talents.
